Caterpillar’s Sales Support Consultant within the Job Site Solutions (JSS) Business Process Support Team will be focused on the development of region-specific maintenance & repair (M&R) strategies and pricing for JSS commercial opportunities. Additionally, the Sales Support Consultant will support integrated solution pricing and contract drafting for Customers and Cat Dealers in Europe, Africa, Eurasia, and the Middle East.
As a member of the JSS Sales Support team, you will need to have a growth mindset, promote continuous improvement, and help build a defect-free culture. We have a fabulous team that does some of the most exciting work at Caterpillar, and we can’t wait for you to join the team!
What you will do:
Develop maintenance strategy and M&R hourly rates for JSS opportunities identified by the commercial team
Support customer-specific asset management strategies for rebuild, repair, or replacement decisions
Support component life strategies based on site application severity
Collaborate with JSS commercial and legal teams to ensure contracts are accurately drafted and legally approved
Collaborate with Cat Dealers and JSS Fleet Managers to audit the financial status of M&R contract commitments
Maintain and develop Standard Work for regional pricing, contract drafting, and invoicing processes
Support the growth of the JSS business model into new countries by collaborating with local accounting and legal teams

Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related technical field.
Strong Interpersonal Skills – You build relationships with ease and are comfortable engaging with Caterpillar and Dealer leadership, as well as cross-functional teams.
Experience in Dealer-Facing Roles – Prior exposure to Caterpillar dealer environments is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with Caterpillar Systems – Understanding of Caterpillar service tools and systems will help you hit the ground running.
Demonstrated experience using M&R rate development tools such as Calculator Web, Service Option Collaborator, AMT, and related systems and methods.
Proven background in drafting and finalising contracts, ensuring compliance and alignment with organisational standards.

Job Title: Sales Support Consultant
Salary: £47,500-£57,500 depending on experience
