Sales Support Assistant

Job Description

This Sales Support Assistant position provides critical sales and administrative support in a fast-paced office environment. You will assist internal sales partners and external distributor channel partners through accurate data entry, reporting, and project coordination. This role offers an excellent entry point into the organization, with strong opportunities to learn the business and grow internally.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day sales support, including accurate and timely data entry and preparation of sales reports.Work closely with internal sales partners to support their activities, ensuring smooth communication and follow-through on tasks.Collaborate with external distributor channel partners to support their needs and maintain strong working relationships.Manage internal projects such as assisting sales with new customer setup and entry into systems.Coordinate and help manage the onboarding and maintenance of new distributor accounts.Use Excel, SAP, and other Microsoft Office tools to update records, generate reports, and track project status.Prioritize and multitask across multiple assignments while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.Maintain accurate documentation and records to support sales operations and administrative processes.

Essential Skills

At least 1 year of professional experience in an office environment.Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative support.Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.Experience using or the ability to quickly learn SAP or similar enterprise systems.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.Comfort working with internal sales teams and external distributor partners.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field of study is preferred.Experience generating reports and tracking sales or operational metrics.Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new systems and tools.Interest in building a long-term career and growing internally within the organization.

Work Environment

This role is based in an office environment with a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote each week after training. You will work closely with sales teams and distributor partners, using tools such as Microsoft Office (including Excel) and SAP on a daily basis. The environment is fast paced and collaborative, offering strong exposure to different parts of the business and clear opportunities for internal growth.

This is a Contract position based out of Kohler, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
