We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Support Specialist to join our sales team. In this role, you will provide critical support to the sales function by analyzing data, generating reports, and ensuring seamless operations. Your expertise in Excel, Salesforce, and Power BI will be essential in driving efficiency and providing insights that support our sales objectives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Data Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform sales strategies and decision-making.

Reporting: Generate and maintain accurate sales reports using Excel and Power BI to provide visibility into sales performance and forecasts.

Salesforce Management: Manage and update Salesforce records to ensure the accuracy of customer and sales information.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes and improve efficiency through data-driven recommendations.

Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and provide analytical support for their initiatives.

Customer Support: Assist in responding to customer inquiries and provide support to the sales team in handling customer requests.

Training and Documentation: Help create training materials and documentation for sales processes and tools.

Market Research: Conduct research to gather competitive intelligence and market insights to support sales strategies.

Requirements

Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in English.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

Technical Proficiency:

Experience of relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server or Access) and data management desirable

Experience with object-oriented programming (e.g. Python) desirable

Experience with statistical or maths packages (e.g. R, Stata, SPSS) desirable

Experience with Alteryx Designer desirable

Experience with RPA tools (e.g. Power Automate, Automation Anywhere) desirable

Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI), capabilities, and best practices is highly desirable

Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas). Knowledge of Visual Basic is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook is essential.

Previous experience in a sales support or analytical role.

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
