Description We are looking for a dedicated Sales Support specialist to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting the sales and purchasing teams with essential tasks such as processing orders, reviewing purchase orders, and providing support to clients and vendors. This is a fully onsite, long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Process and review sales orders and purchase orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide responsive and reliable support to clients and vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Maintain organized records and ensure data integrity within internal systems.
• Collaborate with the sales and purchasing teams to ensure seamless operations and communication.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other office tools to perform data entry and generate reports.
• Monitor and audit order details to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist with billing functions and basic financial tasks as needed.
• Manage email correspondence related to orders and vendor communication.
• Handle inbound calls and provide customer service support.
• Contribute to the improvement of workflows and processes to optimize efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, bookkeeping, or a related role.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic office software; experience with QuickBooks or accounting software is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills to perform calculations accurately.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, CRM tools, or Configure Price Quote (CPQ) software is advantageous.
