Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accredited university is required or equivalent experience of not less than 5 years of supervisory experience. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Fastener/Manufacturing Industry/related experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. Excellent operational skills. Strong interpretation skills. Knowledge of sales or customer related roles in aerospace fasteners or related industry.
Essential Functions
Works with the Sales Manager and management with the development of the department budget and sales forecasts. Map distribution customer purchases to end use. Identifies focus accounts and personally tracks the monthly performance of these accounts. Tracks quotes, booking and sales figures monthly and yearly. Works with the sales representatives on daily quotes; customer, pricing and sales strategies. Ensure that contract review is performed by the Sales representatives. Works with HFS Simi Valley departments and employees to understand and assist in other processes within the facility. Works with the Sales Manager and management with pricing agreement strategies. Provides other departments daily, monthly and other reports as requested. Works with customers and manufacturing on expedites including delinquent orders Provides regular performance feedback; Improves processes, products and services. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives Execute price automation modeling Contribute to Process Improvements – Offer frontline insights into current processes and improvements. Workflow upgrades to reduce errors and improve processing times. Researching competitive market pricing and executing based on this intelligence Understanding import and export policies and procedures. Supervises Sales employees and carries out all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Mentoring and Training newly assigned personnel. Works with Human Resources on compliance of all company policies. Provide leadership to Sales group through example and sharing of knowledge/skill. Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Continually works to improve leadership skills. Responsible for assistance in coordination of duties in the Sales Department. Carries out related responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training new employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and assisting in resolving problems.
