Your role and responsibilities:
To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a committed Sales Engineer (m/f/d) for the field of switchgear and control panel construction in the region of Eastern Switzerland / Graubünden / Zurich.
With your dedication and expertise, you will ensure professional market development and consistently high customer satisfaction. You will primarily work with companies in the field of switchgear and control panel construction, as well as with key influencers such as engineering firms or general contractors.

The work model for the role is: #hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
Acquire new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the switchgear and control panel construction sector
Provide holistic technical consulting and support, including the selection, design, and specification of switchgear systems and components
Prepare technical offers, lead contract negotiations, and collaborate closely with the project team on tailored customer solutions
Develop customer strategies, monitor market trends and competitors, represent our portfolio at key events, and ensure accurate tracking in Salesforce (CRM)
Qualifications for the role:
Completed technical education in the field of switchgear construction
Further training as a Technical Sales Specialist or Technician (TS) is an advantage
Several years of professional experience in sales of switchgear or comparable products
Strong technical understanding and solid knowledge of switchgear construction
High customer orientation and excellent communication skills
Native-level German; good command of English (spoken and written) is a plus
Knowledge of digital networking solutions (e.g. Modbus/TCP)
Independent, goal-oriented working style and high willingness to travel within Switzerland (Category B driver’s license required)
