Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products, systems and services for a variety of markets within the Process Automation - Measurement & Analytics division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

This role contributes to the Process Automation Business Area, and their Measurement & Analytics (PAMA) division in Chile, with the possibility of traveling abroad. Your main stakeholders will be customers from diverse markets, including: Mining, oil & gas, cement, glass, energy and pulp & paper.

You will be mainly accountable for

Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.Conduct client visits, identify new business opportunities, and engage in meetings with engineering firms.Deliver training sessions to end customers and channel partners, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Manage direct and channel sales; may be responsible for overseeing a channel partner.

Qualifications for the role

Academic background in Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Instrumentation.1–2 years of hands-on experience with instrumentation equipment and solid knowledge of industrial instrumentation systems.Intermediate English proficiency and fluent/native Spanish, with strong communication skills in both languages.Proactive and curious mindset, with strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in learning and collaborating across multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.Valid Class B driver’s license and availability to travel regularly to customer sites and business meetings.What’s in it for you?We empower you to take the lead, share bold ideas, and shape real outcomes.
