As we continue to expand and open new communities in the Morgantown area, we are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team The right candidate's primary responsibility is to manage the sales process while providing an excellent buying experience. The Sales Representative continuously sources new customers, helps customers find and design their dream home, and ensures a smooth sales process from beginning to end. This position requires flexibility to work weekends, as this is when many of our customers are available to visit communities and make purchasing decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition, product offerings, and community vision to potential buyers

Understand customer needs, goals, and challenges, while positioning DR Horton as the best solution available

Confidently address questions and objections while closing sale

Maintain accurate documentation of transaction from sale through loan, options, and construction

Proactively generate new sales opportunities through outreach, networking, and relationship building

Develop and share marketing and outreach plans to help drive traffic and interest in new communities

Build strong relationships with realtors, customers, and internal partners

Manages time efficiently, meet sales goals and work effectively with other members of the team

Maintain and develop database of prospects and follow-up opportunities

Participate in sales meetings and ongoing team initiatives and events

Uphold company policies, quality standards, and ethical business practices at all times

Education and/or Experience

Associate’s Degree or 2 years related experience

Previous real estate experience required

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to drive during daytime or nighttime hours

Comfortable using DRH Sales applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop

Ability to use follow written and verbal instructions and apply sound judgement in a fast-paced sales environment

Proficiency with MS Office and email

Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision

Regular exposure to outside weather conditions

The noise level is generally moderate

Preferred Qualifications

Current license to sell real estate in the state of West Virginia

Prior CRM software experience

Previous new construction or residential home sales experience

Strong interpersonal communication skills

Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
