We’re looking for a Sales Representative in the Data Center sector in Quebec.
Our client supports utility and industrial sites with power and temperature control systems. The role involves direct technical engagement with engineers and operators to design, scope, and deliver equipment rental solutions under tight timelines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the data center construction ecosystem and will actively pursue relationships with data center owners, developers and general contractors.
Responsibilities:
Engage in cold calling, account management, creating sales presentations, and closing deals
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and orders
Promote and sell equipment rentals and related services to customers
Develop and implement a strategic annual sales plan for the assigned territory
Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to support successful project execution
Possess a general understanding of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution systems, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors
The successful candidate has:
3–7 years of direct business-to-business (B2B) sales experience
Foundational knowledge of outside sales, with a focus on the Data Center sector
Proficient in using CRM systems
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations, fleet, and logistics
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
Compensation and benefits:
The discussed salary range is $85,000 – $90,000 depending on experience
Lucrative uncapped commission structure with a guaranteed bridge for the first year
