Sales Representative Construction

We’re looking for a Sales Representative based in Alberta with significant travel across Alberta, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories.

Our client is a leading Canadian supplier of specialized drilling and foundation equipment used in construction, mining, and geotechnical projects. This is a field-based role for a motivated, hands-on sales professional who enjoys travel, cold calling, and developing long-term customer relationships. You’ll be responsible for growing business and expanding market share across a large, high-potential territory.

Sales Representative responsibilities:

Develop new business and manage existing customer relationships Promote and sell specialized equipment, tooling, and parts Conduct in-person client visits, product demos, and presentations Collaborate with technical and service teams to support customer needs Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates Travel up to 70% throughout Alberta, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories

The successful candidate has:

5+ years of sales experience in construction, heavy equipment, or related industries Proven success in prospecting and cold calling Strong relationship-building and communication skills Technical aptitude and confidence presenting equipment-based solutions Valid driver’s license and comfort with extensive travel

Compensation and benefits:

Base salary of $80,000  Commission plan with first-year guarantee (target earnings around $150,000) Vehicle allowance, fuel card or company vehicle Health, dental, and vision coverage RRSP matching program
