Sales Representative (B2B)
Job Title: Inside Sales Representative Location: Shelton, CT (On-site) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM About the Role: We’re seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join a growing team in Shelton, CT. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and expanding inside sales department within a leading educational supply company. You’ll play a key role in reactivating dormant accounts, building customer relationships, and driving sales in a fun, collaborative, and fast-paced environment. Ideal for candidates with B2B sales experience—and a great opportunity for recent graduates with strong communication skills and a passion for sales. Key Responsibilities: + Make 100+ outbound B2B calls daily to re-engage former customers and generate new business. + Use a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and promote products. + Manage a territory of education professionals, including principals and administrators. + Maintain accurate records in CRM and order processing systems. + Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, IT, and outside sales. + Utilize promotional offers to drive customer interest and sales. + Conduct online research to gather customer insights and support outreach efforts. Must-Have Skills: + 1+ years of experience in: + B2B outbound calling / telemarketing + Microsoft Office tools + Inside sales or customer service + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Comfortable speaking with senior -level stakeholders (e.g., principals, VPs). + Professional, articulate, and goal-oriented. Nice-to-Have Skills: + Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms. + Background in education, school supplies, or technology sales. + Familiarity with digital marketing, lead generation, and account management. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
