Sales Representative
**Description** **The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.** **Job Summary** + The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling BrightView’s products and services while serving as a brand ambassador. This role builds strong connections with people and communities by delivering best-in-class landscaping services. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Acquire new commercial customers through door-to-door sales, direct marketing, and other prospecting activities, including lead generation and conversion. + Conduct proactive consultative needs analysis with new prospective customers to identify opportunities. + Partner with operational partners to support contract negotiations and pricing schedules + Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs. + Build and maintain strong business relationships to drive future sales. + Stay informed about competitor activities within the assigned territory; communicate competitive pricing changes, marketing directives, or door-to-door sales tactics to management. + Successfully complete all required training programs + Perform additional responsibilities as assigned **Education and Experience:** + High school diploma or equivalent + Prior sales experience in prospecting, cold calling, or direct sales + Motivated and ambitious, with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales targets + Resilient with the ability to handle rejection and persist through challenges. + Positive, enthusiastic attitude toward sales and customer interactions + Adaptable to changing environments and client needs, eager to learn and grow + Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and persuasively engage potential customers. + Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain lasting customer and colleague relationships. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) **Physical Demands/Requirements:** + Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, cell phone, and sales programs/tools. + Position is a combination of mobile and sedentary work; must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time + Customarily and regularly spends more than half of the time working away from BrightView’s places of business, selling and obtaining orders or contracts for BrightView’s services + Ability to travel by car, train, and plane + Position needs to be able to traverse uneven grounds and walk on job sites with clients and branch teams for periods of time up to 4 hours **Work Environment** **:** + Works both indoors and outdoors + Field-based position, a combination of office and customer-facing **_BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer._** **_This job description is subject to change at any time._** **_BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
