DESCRIPTION:
As a Sales Representative for the LSG (Life Sciences Group) Portfolio in Argentina, you will play a crucial role in growing our business and achieving sales targets in this dynamic market. You'll represent Thermo Fisher Scientific's extensive Life Sciences and Genetics portfolio, focusing on technical and consultative sales. Your role involves developing and implementing territory plans, identifying new business opportunities, and building productive relationships across multiple functions and levels within client organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Local Manager to develop and execute strategic account and territory plans for LSG products and workflows.
• Grow the business by identifying, visiting, and following up with potential customers, with the primary objective of overachieving the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Utilize your strong technical understanding of Biology and Genetics Sciences' products to promote and conduct consultative sales.
• Monitor and analyze sales results, develop new customers, and introduce new products through daily customer visits.
• Build and maintain an accurate sales forecast, taking accountability for the numbers and meeting territory targets.
• Serve as the Single Point of Contact for customers in Argentina, providing comprehensive support, information, and addressing related requests.
• Participate in meetings, seminars, and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales strategies.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to outperform competitors in the territory.
• Ensure full compliance with Thermo Fisher's ethics, regulatory practices, and company standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar sales role, preferably in the life sciences industry.
• Fluency in English (writing and speaking).
• Strong technical understanding of molecular biology, genetics, and related life science applications.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic customer relationships at multiple organizational levels.
• Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven track record in territory planning, business development, and achieving sales targets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office applications.
• Ability to travel extensively within Argentina.
