A Day in the LifeTo support our Hernia and Wound Management business, we are seeking a full-time, customer-oriented Therapy Sales Specialist with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for business opportunities. This position is ideal for someone with strong relationship management abilities and several years of commercial experience. Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.In this role, you will present and sell wound management products, laparoscopic instruments, and related services to hospitals and healthcare professionals in North Holland, Utrecht, and Gelderland. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, managing tenders, and building trusted partnerships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. Experience with DMU management and the ability to handle multiple projects are essential. You will define and execute sales strategies, ensure quality service delivery, and collaborate with your team and other Medtronic divisions to maximize business opportunities. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you are expected to travel regularly throughout the northern region of the Netherlands.

Responsible for sales of Hernia and Wound management products to assigned hospitals and healthcare professionals, ensuring quality and consistency of serviceBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, driving product usage and market share through clinical sellingManage multiple short- and long-term projects, including account management, tender optimization, and resolving client concernsProvide product presentations, training (e.g., suture knot tying), and technical support to hospital staff and physiciansLead business development activities: identify new sales prospects, prepare action plans, negotiate contracts, and expand client baseConduct market analysis, monitor competitor activity, and prepare for upcoming tenders and market trendsAttend and facilitate congresses, workshops, and marketing functions while maintaining up-to-date product and market knowledgeRequired Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of proven sales experienceHighly motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptableExcellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skillsFluent in Dutch and strong English proficiencyIndependent worker with strong time managementService-oriented, sales-driven, and based in North Holland, Utrecht, or GelderlandPhysical Job Requirements
