Sales Representative

ResponsibilitiesGreet walk-in customers and assess their needs.Present and demonstrate products, conveying product information.Provide optimal solutions and possible options for customers.Conduct sales transactions and enter orders into the system.Print receipts for customers and send delivery tickets to operations via the system.Work with sales services on custom orders and products not in stock.Process credit card purchases following appropriate procedures.Visit customer business sites or residential offices to assess spaces for furniture purchases.Collaborate with designers for small-based customer projects.Follow up with customers to assess satisfaction after furniture delivery or office installations.Assist with order and delivery issues, coordinating resolutions as needed.Respond to customer phone calls and email inquiries, providing information and assistance.Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of the show floor.Ensure show floor is consistently full after furniture pieces have been sold or moved.

Essential SkillsProficiency in sales and account management.Strong data entry skills.Customer service oriented approach.Experience in outbound sales and retail sales.QualificationsAssociate’s degree in business or related field.Minimum of one year retail sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience working with office products or furniture preferred.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36000.00 - $40000.00/yr.
