About the Role
The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and managing a client base of traditional retail shops, stationeries, and small toy stores in the allocated territory. This is a fully field-based role (approx. 80% time on the road), ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic, relationship-driven sales environment. You will report directly to the Country Manager, while enjoying full autonomy in planning your route, building your sales strategy, and generating growth in your region.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with local toy shops, stationeries, and smaller retailers. Organize and conduct client visits based on a self-planned route. Present monthly product innovations and upsell across the full portfolio. Place and follow up on orders in coordination with the internal back office. Gather client feedback and market trends for internal reporting. Act as the local brand ambassador and expert for the product range.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Conversational Hungarian (mandatory) to serve the regional customer base. Previous experience in FMCG, stationery, toys. Self-starter who can work remotely and independently, with minimal oversight. Strong interpersonal skills; resilient in handling objections and price discussions. Comfortable with field travel – approx. 80% of time spent on the road. Holds a valid B-category driving license. Resides in or near Târgu Mureș (Brașov or Miercurea Ciuc as backup options). Basic English required.
