Sales Representative – SSSR

Purpose of the role

The successful incumbent will drive sales and revenue growth by developing and maintaining relationships with customers in the chemical industry, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical and commercial support.

Key Responsibilities:

Present, promote and sell products/services existing and prospective customers. Achieve and exceed sales targets and outcomes within territory. Identify new business opportunities, develop new accounts and act on leads to growth of customer base. Advise management of recommended sales strategies relevant for the region. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships. Provide tailored technical support and product recommendations. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints. Provide product training and demonstrations for clients. Stay updated on product specifications, applications, and market trends. Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs. Attend relevant conferences / workshops. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence reports and complete related sales administration duties.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum 2–5 years sales experience with a proven track record of achieving targets. A tertiary qualification / diploma is preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license, own vehicle and willingness to travel.
