Role Overview
As a Sales Representative at Liquidnet, you will play a key role in engaging institutional clients across the trading ecosystem. This client-facing role involves marketing to new and existing traders and firms, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships, and supporting customers throughout their trading experience.
You'll collaborate closely with brokers to entertain clients, provide timely feedback to internal teams on trading policies and system enhancements, and assist with platform testing, market monitoring, trade settlements, and error resolution when needed.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, personable, and client-oriented, with excellent communication skills and a strong grasp of financial markets. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring a problem-solving mindset, and demonstrate integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
Role Responsibilities
Market to new and existing traders and firms
Leverage existing and establish new business relationships
Entertain existing and new business relationships in conjunction with Brokers
Train customers on SEF platform
Monitor Markets
Assist with platform testing
Provide customer feedback regarding trading policies and protocol to Product Mangers
Enhancement requests
When necessary, assist with the delivery of securities and settlement information (post- trade and settlement instructions)
Handle error trades (break parameters); and
Other duties as may be assigned.
Experience / Competences
Essential
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in client-facing sales role, preferably in electronic trading platforms or similar environment; and
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
