Sales Representative, Cardiac Surgery

We are currently hiring a sales representative to support the Cardiac Surgery business in Seoul. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling highly innovative Cardiac Surgery portfolio mainly across East Seoul and Bundang area and other accounts as needed. **At Medtronic, you will be empowered to shape your own career. We support your growth with the training, mentorship, and guidance you need to own your future success.** **Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:** + Work within and actively promote Medtronic’s core mission, corporate strategies, policies, procedures (Foundation list) and Code of Conduct + Promotes and sells Medtronic’s products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets + Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals + Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic’s products and/or services + Promotes and establishes education of the company’s products and/or services to customers + Provide on-going field intelligence reports on competitive activity, changes in market, distribution, pricing as well as input on customer preferences and product features + Implements market development plans/strategies and organize marketing activities as needed + Complete administrative reporting as assigned, such as expense reports, updating account profiles and analysis, daily / weekly plans, and activity reports, monthly forecast, database, and inventory log + Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing + Maintain a high level of product knowledge **Required Knowledge and Experience:** + Completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Life science or relevant field of studies + 1 - 5 years of demonstrated sales / clinical experience in the medical devices or healthcare industry + For Sales Rep I level: 1 to 3 year’s relevant experience + For Sales Rep II level: minimum 3 years' relevant experience + Excellent commercial business acumen, active and outgoing personality, flexible and team-oriented + Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Korea languages + Computer and MS Office proficient + Active driver’s license + Industry experience including previous experience in surgical assistance is highly regarded (Medical Devices or Healthcare) + Experience in Intervention or cardiovascular medical device is preferred + Direct experience interacting and dealing with key opinion leaders and other leading roles in the scientific and clinical community is a great plus **Physical Job Requirements** The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.  **Benefits & Compensation** **Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package** A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
