Sudden Cardiac Arrest occurs to millions of people per year worldwide, with no warning. Public access to Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) helps to ensure that lifesaving technology is placed where it can do the most good (such as in homes, workplaces, facilities, communities, etc.) – empowering bystanders and Emergency Response Teams to save lives.

As Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving the sales growth of our AEDs product portfolio in the Benelux region by collaborating closely with our distributor partners.

Reporting directly to our Regional Sales Manager of Northern Europe, this is a unique opportunity to join one of the world’s leading medical technology organizations in a role where you will have a meaningful impact to the lives of people – and to our mission of making healthcare better!

What you will do:

In your new role, you will start with a familiarization phase with product training to learn about the product portfolio and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

In collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager, you will analyze the marketplace and develop effective territory/account sales strategies towards the growth of our business.

You will create yearly strategic Business plans together with the third-party distribution channels and will also oversee regular/quarterly business reviews.

Next to this focus will also be on Business Development activities that involve segment analysis to identify direct sales opportunities for specific segments and Key Accounts, particularly where third-party distribution channels have minimal or no focus.

With the product knowledge you’ll develop, you will conduct product demonstrations, training, etc. to convey the clinical benefits of our AEDs.

Establish strong and lasting business relationships with our customers as well as with key decision makers within the distributors’ organizations.

Participate in congresses, seminars to meet potential new customers and to expand your knowledge for customer contact.

You will be a reliable partner for our customers during order follow-up towards a timely delivery date and thus a high level of customer satisfaction. You are also a key player in building internal relationships to effectively close operational activities.

Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop strategies to create awareness on Sudden Cardiac Arrest and further demand for Stryker’s products and services.

What you need:

Required:

You already have 5+ years demonstrable experience preferably in industries such as MedTech, Pharmaceuticals, BioTech, healthcare or related.

You hold a diploma/degree preferably in fields such as business, physiotherapy, nursing, healthcare, or in any other relevant areas.

Excellent interpersonal communications and persuasion skills – with proficiency in Dutch and English.

Relationship skills: you appreciate contact with a wide variety of people and enjoy building and maintaining connections. You also consider yourself a great team player.

You are enthusiastic about (medical) technology – your resilience and desire to sell technical products with the best customer service are important elements to you.

You demonstrate adaptability, organizational and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

You have a valid driver’s license, and you are located either in The Netherlands or Belgium. Since this position requires customer interactions in the field, you have flexibility to travel in the region (travel percentage of 40%).

Preferred:

Sales experience within commercial B2B, Direct Sales experience, medical devices, distributor/indirect channel management or similar would be an advantage.
