BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

 

We have an immediate requirement for a Sales Representative – Kiunga reporting to the Sales Manager – Outstation in Port Moresby.

 

The incumbent will be responsible for achieving budgeted sales volume, building and maintaining strong distributor and customer networks, and ensuring product visibility targets are met.

The position also oversees local sales operations in the outstation, marketing activities, logistics coordination, Managing customer accounts and general administrative requirements.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Identify and establish a distributor network and manage the general performance of customers within the assigned region. Ensure established distributors and container operators comply with SP Brewery agreement terms. Ensure proper execution of customized promotions and local ground activities. Ensure all customers carry the full SPB Portfolio of products. Monitor freshness throughout the region and ensure that preventative plans and measures are in place to avoid issues. Develop outlet specific customer volume driving activities where required to enhance trade standards, sales and customer relationships. Manage closely the daily shipping schedule reports to ensure timely order securing by reps, clearance through customer service and loading/dispatch by logistics to meet customer requirements.

 

ELIGIBILITY

 

Current class 3/6 driver’s license – DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT LICENCE A diploma or degree in Business Management or relevant with experience in Sales may be necessary. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in FMCG or related industry. Good computer knowledge and skill. Strong communication & planning skills. Career minded, one who is passionate about personal development and aspires to grow. Will possess and demonstrate the right attitude/behavior whilst willing to learn. Possess strong work ethics with business growth mindset. Works under minimum supervision, reliable and trustworthy Current Police Clearance
