A fast-growing startup is redefining the in-home guest experience by bringing premium services directly to short-term rental stays. This company offers a wide range of service categories-including chefs, photography, massage, personal training, and more-across 260 cities, with new services and locations launching regularly.
We're looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Operations Specialist to be the frontline representative in key Los Angeles neighborhoods, including Central LA and Silicon Beach (Santa Monica to Playa Vista). This role focuses on lead generation, in-person sales engagement, and initiating onboarding processes with local service providers.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Identify and connect with potential service providers through in-person outreach, online research, cold calling, community involvement, and local networking.
Sales Pitches: Conduct compelling in-person presentations to promote the platform's offerings, converting interest into active host submissions.
Onboarding: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the initial onboarding of new service partners, ensuring they're set up for success.
Market Insights: Collect feedback and insights from the community and prospects to refine sales tactics and enhance service quality.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or community engagement.
Outstanding interpersonal skills; confident with cold outreach and initiating conversations across different channels.
Resourceful, curious, and proactive in testing new approaches to generate and close leads.
Strong local knowledge and ability to connect authentically with communities.
Highly organized, able to manage multiple leads and conversations simultaneously.
Clear and personable communicator, both written and verbal.
Motivated by a mission to build economic opportunity and foster connection.
Comfortable using platforms like Facebook Groups, Reddit, and Nextdoor for outreach and networking.
Experience working with small business owners, gig workers, or independent service providers is a plus.
Must be based in Los Angeles, with deep understanding of the local market and service landscape.
