The Sales Operations Manager provides leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for the sales organization. This role manages the sales process end-to-end, ensuring optimal use of CRM tools, accurate reporting, and effective workflow management for the Sales Operations team. By supporting the physician sales force, driving analytics, and aligning operational processes, this position plays a critical role in improving sales force effectiveness and achieving revenue goals.

 

This is a REMOTE Opportunity with national travel.

Applicants may reside anywhere within the Continental USA.

 

We are looking for someone experienced in managing sales operations in a healthcare or specialty pharmacy environment, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy, or infusion therapy field management with a demonstrated record of achievement required.

Responsibilities Serves as the primary operational support resource for the physician sales teamOversees the daily workflow and project management for the Sales Operations team, ensuring tasks are prioritized and executed efficientlyProvides guidance, resources, and tools to help the sales team achieve performance targetsLeads the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the company-wide CRM platformImplements new features, functionality, and workflows to maximize user adoption and productivityOnboards and trains new sales team members in CRM use and best practicesDevelops and delivers regular sales reports, dashboards, and analyses for the Sales and 340B Sales teamsIntegrates finance-driven data with CRM metrics to provide a complete view of performanceAnalyzes territory trends, including customer segmentation, call activity, GPO contracts, and sales results, to identify growth opportunitiesCollaborates with leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales organizationMonitors and reports on KPIs to assess productivity, efficiency, and resultsProvides insights that inform strategic decisions and territory planningDesigns and delivers sales training programs for all new hiresContributes to the design and tactical planning of the National Sales Meeting and other sales workshopsEnsures ongoing development opportunities are available for sales staffOversees the preparation and facilitation of territory reviews to align sales activities with company goalsSupports the SVP of Sales with strategic projects and initiatives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience) requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy, or infusion therapy field management with a demonstrated record of achievement requiredAdvanced degree in Business or related field preferredExperience managing sales operations in a healthcare or specialty pharmacy environment preferredStrong understanding of trade relations, reimbursement processes, government programs, managed care, formulary management, and contract negotiationProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM systemsExceptional organizational, administrative, and communication skillsAbility to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment About our Line of Business Amerita, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a specialty infusion company focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital.
