JOB SUMMARY: The Sales Operations Manager is vital in shaping commercial strategy, managing sales execution, and analyzing data using platforms like Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Tableau, and Zoho/BI. They ensure departmental alignment and explore new technologies for operational enhancement. This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office) in Thousand Oaks or Brea, CA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Play key role in operationalizing strategic ID initiatives by translating them into effective reporting and develop and drive the overall strategic vision for the role Sales Ops plays within Implant Direct.Comprehensive evaluation and development of recurring sales, product, and strategy reports with a focus on streamlining and maintenance.Oversees the sales team data management including new hire information, territory alignment, and a broad spectrum of performance KPI reportingIdentifies key areas of strength and weakness within the sales organization and oversees projects to help capitalize or improve these areasDesign and execute the sales Bowlers and Dashboards based on the requirements of the executive management team. Instrumental in providing executive management with key input (effectiveness assessments, gap analysis, promotional or incentive programs, etc.) that will help in the territory alignment and design processGenerate actionable reports guiding performance improvement parametersResponsible for the development and implementation of new processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operationsIdentify market opportunities for expansion and growth, aligned to the Get, Grow and Keep strategyWork closely with US Sales leadership to create and maintain a world-class sales culture, focused on delivering results by providing ongoing analytics, performance matrix, coaching, and developing quotas for the USA sales organization.Identify ways to leverage EBS tools to continuously improve sales operationsEvaluate existing and future analytics sales tool functionality, recommend best practices and prescribe rollout plans, including: VOC, training, communication, testing, and release managementEffectively manage Sales Operations expenses to ensure delivery of internal gross margin goalsOversees and manages sales personnel variable compensation related reporting, including SPIFF payouts, providing timely guidance to the finance team to ensure an accurate and timely payoutOversees the General Manager’s daily management board.Develop an in-depth knowledge of Implant Direct’s core products via successful completion of Sales Effectiveness training program and utilize this knowledge to successfully lead Sales Support operations.Responsible for the development of training materials for internal personnel on sales operations related topics. Providing training and coaching to the USA sales organization on how to leverage the data / reporting effectively.Prepares and presents executive, global and interdepartmental reports and analysis.Job Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree; preferably in Business, Data Analytics or similar5-8 years of previous related experience Should possess leadership and analytical qualities along with a strong track record of excellence.Experience in all aspects of Sales Operations (data entry, data cleansing, analytics, sales strategy and reporting)Competent in SAP or comparable Business Intelligence toolsCompetent in Salesforce.com or comparable CRM toolsStrong analytical and Microsoft Excel skills requiredThe ability to translate Business Analytics/Business Intelligence into actionable insightsMedical device or dental related industry experience is a plus#LI-RJ1
