Sales Operations and Communications Specialist
**Job Description** **Hybrid -** This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to either the Markham Elevation Centre or the Oshawa Elevation Centre three times per week, at minimum. Reporting to the Sales Operations and Communications Manager, the Sales Operations and Communications Specialist will support the Sales Operations and Communications Team, working to drive the strategic implementation, execution, and governance of all dealer-facing communications and operational sales initiatives at General Motors Canada. You might be a good fit for this role if you’re an expert communicator and eager to align perspectives and priorities. The ideal candidate for this role embodies the GM Behaviours and is motivated by the desire to continue to drive sales/communications process improvements, internally and with our Dealer Network. The ability to collaborate, and the effective prioritization of ambiguous and fast-paced priorities is key. Previous project management experience is an asset. **What You’ll Do:** **Support the Sales Operations & Communications Team:** + Support the Dealer Communication Teams process and output from meetings + Support the coordination, administration and communication of the Dealer Boards, RMAB, DMA, Subcommittees and Advisory Boards as well as any meeting outputs and follow up actions + Support the coordination, logistics and execution of key company/Dealer meetings with agency stakeholders including and not limited to: ERT, Dealer Facing Events, Conferences, PDD, Training, Field Net Meeting, MAB + Assist with the DCT process alongside the DCT Coordinator for tasks including but not limited to content coordination, action item management, dealer boards page updates, and by-laws + Support the DCT Coordinator with the annual DCT election process + Lead for Dealer Board Page updates and dealer facing communications + Maintain existing, and develop new, data analytics dashboards/reports supporting VSM + Work with various cross functional departments including the regions to ensure all stakeholders interests are represented + Assisting and supporting Sales Operations, Retail Excellence and Simplification (incl. training), Field Communications and Retail Marketing deliverables, stakeholder approvals and deadlines + Lead for Dealer Graphics, colour and trim + Lead the creation and distribution of Dealer facing communications, scripts and/or newsletters to the dealer body/network **Key Skills & Competencies** + Comfortable working with ambiguity - Able to bring clarity and focus to ambiguous situations + Excellent interpersonal skills - Able to build strong working relationships across teams + Ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt to new responsibilities with natural curiosity + Strong time management skills - Can prioritize and work independently under tight deadlines + Comfortable with complexity – Able to structure and solve complex problems + Excellent written and oral communication skills (including PowerPoint Wizardry) + Must be results-driven, highly organized, and self-motivated; taking initiative and following through **Education and Training:** + Successfully obtained a Bachelors degree; advanced degree or experience in business, marketing, sales, communications preferred; + Advanced Excel, Powerpoint is required + Power BI and Tableau experience beneficial + Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset **Benefits:** The goal of the General Motors of Canada total rewards program is to support the health and well-being of you and your family.
