We have an immediate requirement for a Sales Off-Rade Metro Manager based in Lae reporting to the Regional Sales Manager North and Highlands.

 

The incumbent will increase sales revenue and market penetration in assigned area Off-Trade North (Morobe) by seeking out business opportunities for the company’s product.

 

Main duties include:

Increase sales in the area assisted by aggressive promotion and merchandising campaigns and ensuring all the outlets in the area stock the full range of the Company’s products and that their prominence is maintained through effective marketing and merchandising campaigns. Ensure Excellent Outlet Execution (EOE) and PICOS requirements are adhered to by all outlets. Increase sales in the area and ensure that business opportunities are explored and developed to further the objectives of the company. Increase market share of the Company's products, through gaining new clients and retaining existing ones. Plan daily call cycles to ensure visits are made frequently to meet both the Company’s and customer’s needs Check on merchandising and discuss any problem areas with the customers and provide professional advice on stock ordering, freshness, storage and rotation. Explore business opportunities to increase sales, establish good relationships with business clients and promptly respond to and attend to customer problems and requests Foster good working relationships with Government officials and business clients to ensure that the interest of the company is secured. Project a positive image of the Company at all times both in official capacity and after hours as he/she would also be performing a public relations role. Maintain a two-way communication with the Regional Sales Manager North and Highlands and all Sales Representatives passing back field information from all areas of operation and receiving information on stock situations and sales plans. Increase sales by ensuring that the full NND range of company products is available at all outlets. Identify business opportunities and potential for Company products by implementing aggressive sales promotions and campaigns. Maintain good relationships with business clients and customers through regular call cycles and responding promptly to requests. Ensure that set volume targets, by product types, are sold within prescribed time limits and contribute to total area achievement. Strive to exceed area sales targets by identifying and winning potential business clients in the marketplace. Evaluate and report on all changes that affect the company’s operations, such as trade and competitor activities, to ensure that the company maintains awareness of the situation.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

Current class 3/6 driver’s license – DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT LICENCE. A diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related field is essential. Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG or related industry with demonstrated supervisory experience. Ability to adapt to change, challenge and work under pressure. Good written and oral communication skills. Solid Supervisory & Planning Operational skills. Possess a strong work ethic. Must have a current Police Clearance report.
