Cobbs Creek Golf and Education Campus is currently seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to develop and implements an annual sales plan that maximizes profitability for the facility and outstanding quality service for customers. This high-visibility role requires a leader with exceptional integrity, professionalism, and a passion for delivering a memorable golf experience to a diverse and growing community.
Essential Duties:
Develop and lead a strategic sales program designed meet/exceed the facility’s sales and revenues goals in the areas of golf events, weddings and social events. This includes, but is not limited to, telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, sales presentations, property tours, customer meetings and written correspondence. Manage and maintain the master calendar of events, ensuring appropriate scheduling and service levels. Coordinate with various departments through daily operations and weekly resume meetings to ensure alignment on event details. Proactively ensure that the client's setup—including event space, food and beverage, audiovisual (AV) equipment, and any other programmed needs—is fully prepared and aligned with client expectations prior to their arrival. Develops and maintains relationships with local corporations, chambers of commerce, associations and charities to grow individual golf rounds, group golf rounds, and event revenue. Creates and designs flyers, posters, website emails, newsletters, menus, brochures, creative copy, presentations, data entry, digital signage, and learns new applications as they may arise. Manages social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, etc.) working independently and along with our outside marketing vendors Maintains the property’s brand standards and executes strategies developed to improve the awareness of the property, events, and communications. Participates in creating highly polished, inspiring presentations to be used for Club and Committee presentations. Prepares marketing ROI analysis and key performance metric reporting. Prepares marketing analytics to measure performance for prioritizing and optimizing all marketing campaigns, with a focus on spend efficiency. Maintains relationships with property staff, Community Association staff and vendors to coordinate and manage marketing partnerships in conjunction with the Director of Marketing & Communications.Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BA); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
2-4 years of marketing and/or communications experience, preferably in hospitality. College degree preferred. Full-time work schedule predominately Monday through Friday, however, occasional evening, weekend and holiday work does occur. The individual must have a flexible schedule and availability. Excellent writing, grammar and communication skills required to maintain high service standards and interact with members daily. Proficient time-management skills, detail-orientation and strong follow through with a high level of accuracy is required. A strong track record of working independently and proactively assisting in identifying bold and creative new initiatives. Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments where multiple projects are ongoing at once, with different timelines and stakeholders (internal and external). Strong analytical skills, communication and computer skills. Familiarity with best practices and effective marketing and communications techniques in the club or hospitality industry.
