BRIEF DESCRIPTION
Support the Regional Sales Manager in ensuring all channel strategies are effectively implemented. Achieve budget volume and revenue targets. Establish and maintain an effective Distributor and customer network to capture all volume opportunities. Ensuring all visibility and outlet execution targets are obtained and to manage effectively all local sales, marketing, logistics, payment/AR & administration requirements Liaison with Bottle Buyers to facilitate budgeted bottle returns Data collection & projects accomplishments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive safety everywhere, demonstrate preventative and proactive behavior towards safety and ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures. Further ensuring all safety audits are completed and fall within acceptable guidelines online. Must demonstrate active leadership of the team through Heineken behaviors to achieve performance metrics in a collaborative environment. Responsible for the recruitment and development of reps as well as recognizing strong achievements to drive a high-performance culture. Will work through the performance management process (plans/reviews/IDPs) of the regional team in line with company guidelines. Coach and mentor his team to create optimal in-store execution by using the required step of the call process, utilizing A2QVP2 checklists and Heineken Way for Sales service methodology. Lead the regional team to execute SPB standards, deliver customer service excellence and achieve an agreed set of key performance metrics within assigned territory.
General Sales, Distributor and Customer Management
Protect and grow market share in On Trade and manage the general performance of customers within the assigned region or territory. Achievement of relevant sales budgets – for the outlet and channel. Ensure service level, merchandising and selling activities are conducted as per requirements by reps for customers. Ensure proper execution of customized promotions and local ground activities with post evaluation results. Lead reps to ensure all customers consistently carry the full SP Brewery Portfolio of products. Ensure that NPD and NND company objectives are met. Lead the reps to ensure that agreed recommended retail pricing is compliant in On Trade outlets and pricing in line with SPB indexed pricing guidelines. Ensuring that team members are monitoring product freshness throughout respective channels, territories/regions and that preventative plans and measures are in place to avoid issues. Develop outlet specific customer volume driving activities where required to drive the needed volume whilst enhancing trade standards, sales and customers relationships. In collaboration with reps, ensure Accounts Receivable debts are collected within trading terms. Ensure that all parties (sales, credit, logistics) are acutely aware of orders. Work with Customer Service & Logistics Dept. to ensure efficient delivery of stock to customers in a timely & professional manner. Coordination of all POSM requirements for assigned outlets. Coordinate the collection of market intelligence on competitor activities and threats to trading and submit detailed reports and evidence through to management. Ensure reps complete all data collection requirements on sales tablets each call. Ensure to complete the required monthly outlet assessment per sales rep using the online application, (10 outlets per permanent rep each month are assessed formally using outlet assessment form) Ensure timely delivery of reports to respective stakeholders. Co-ordinate information collection and processing with respective stakeholders Working with reps in on trade outlets and bottle buyers to locate and collect the targeted volume of returnable bottles to SP Brewery.
ELIGIBILITY
Current class 3/6 driver’s license – DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT LICENCE. A diploma or degree in Business Management or relevant with experience in Sales may be necessary. Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG or related industry with demonstrated supervisory experience. Strong planning and communication skills. Ability to adapt to change, challenge and work under pressure. Must possess and demonstrate the right attitude and is willing to develop himself or herself. Ambitions with a focus on career and personal development and progress. Possess a strong work ethic. Must have a recent Police clearance report.HOW TO APPLY:
