Purpose of the role:

Develop and own the commercial strategy for Lima to go after the ambition, and delivering critical business KPI as Sell Out, Distribution, Sell In, NSV, TS management, GM%, Cash.Support the Distributor Manager Perú to ensure the market delivers and maximizes Annual Operating Plan profit targets of the region (Lima), winning quality market share.Responsible to develop strong partner relationships with the Distributor’s team and KA customers in Lima. Increase focus and support for the entire Diageo portfolio of spirits brands whilst increasing distribution, volume, and brand visibility across different channels and customers.Own the execution IBP process for Lima, ensure FDE implementation in all outlet target. Follow up this plan with clear visibility of data, insights, and performance.This position is responsible for the relation on a day-to-day basis with the Distributor and KA customers in Lima, ensuring the relationship is in place and facilitating the link between Diageo’s different functions and the Distributor.Work with the Distributor to align commercial routines, with a strong external focus. Develop JCP’s and quarterly commercial plans for Tacna customers.This role exists to ensure all the critical initiatives are implemented, translating plans to reality and as outcome, ensuring Diageo reaches the specific goals of the region.Work with the Distributor and partners to ensure an optimum data management to take decisions that consider effectiveness and efficiencies. 

Key Outputs/Deliverables

Supports development and execution of Brand standards for Channels and Customers.

Develops and delivers AOP.

Implements commercial propositions for all innovation projects.

Implements commercial propositions for specific Reserve brands projects.

Assures Trade terms management and compliance.

Responsible for overall deployment of resources, in line with strategy.

Supports the development and implementation of Sales incentives, training, measurement tools and Key Performance Indicators.

Communication with Customers and Sales teams.

Leads A&P and TS budgets in conjunction with distributors.

Ensure all customers are adhering to agreed trading terms, especially payment terms. 

Supports market forecasting and supervise depletions.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Bachelor’s Degree required in Business or related field.+6 years Sales and /or Customer Marketing /Trade Marketing areas with specific experience in leading distributor-based businesses in the region. English proficiency and proficient Spanish required.Value chain managementAbility to work around and within a variety of different market conditions and demographic factorsSelling experience as part of an organization with Sales training crucialUnderstanding of retailer and/or distributor strategy and operations crucialGood analytical skills and data literateFinancial CompetenceGood presentation skillsCross functional experienceGood influencing and negotiation skills with a range and adaptability of style.Strategic problem solverGood planning skills.Travel requiredGood leadership capabilities to coordinate and lead multifunctional team and distributors.ProactiveMicrosoft proficient (Excel and PowerPoint)
