Sales Manager (King-Long Bus)

Airswift is currently looking for a Sales Manager (King-Long Bus) to work on a permanent position with our client in Tanzania.
In this role, you will not only deeply participate in the development of Tanzania's public transportation industry but also achieve rapid career advancement through outstanding performance, growing into a key management figure for King Long buses in the East African region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute the business development strategy and annual operational plan for the division in the Tanzanian market, achieving defined sales and market share objectives.
2. Oversee the division's day-to-day operational management, encompassing sales management, after-sales service coordination, customer relationship maintenance, and spare parts supply chain management.
3. Proactively develop and maintain key account relationships, including major clients such as public transport companies, tourism groups, educational institutions, and government agencies.
4. Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape of the local bus market, regularly submitting market intelligence reports to support headquarters' decision-making.
5. Lead and manage the local team, with full responsibility for team building, performance evaluation, and talent development.
6. Ensure all division operations comply with Tanzanian legal and regulatory requirements, and maintain positive relationships with government bodies and industry associations.
Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of senior management experience within the commercial vehicle or bus industry. Strategic Skills: Demonstrated excellence in strategic planning and business development. Leadership: Outstanding team leadership and cross-cultural communication capabilities. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using CRM systems and standard office productivity software. Language: Fluency in both English and Swahili is required. Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Tanzanian transportation industry's policies and market landscape.
Mandatory Requirements: Deep familiarity with the local business culture. A minimum of 5 years of management experience within the bus or commercial vehicle industry.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with established client relationships with government entities, public transport operators, or large-scale transportation enterprises are highly preferred. Must possess a proven track record of success in team management and business development.
