We are recruiting a Sales Manager France with a clear hunter / new business orientation, capable of opening new accounts and building a sustainable growth dynamic.

The French subsidiary of an international group specialized in scientific and regulatory services for regulated industries, the company operates exclusively in a B2B environment.

It does not manufacture products or equipment. Its mission is to support brands, manufacturers, and suppliers in ensuring the safety, efficacy, scientific validation, and regulatory compliance of their products internationally.

Key Expertise – Cosmetics & Personal Care

Clinical and in vivo studies (SPF, anti-aging, tolerance, claims) Microbiological and stability testing Toxicological evaluation and product safety Regulatory strategy, compliance, and technical documentation

The group also has recognized expertise in Medical Devices, enabling it to support clients operating in highly complex regulatory environments.

This is a frontline business development role, primarily focused on:

Winning new accounts in the French market Increasing visibility and commercial presence Structuring a disciplined and proactive prospecting approach Positioning the company as a long-term scientific and regulatory partner

This is a pure development role, with strong expectations in opening new accounts within technical and consultative sales cycles.

???? Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for driving growth through active market development.

Your responsibilities include:

Leading active prospecting across France Identifying, approaching, and converting new clients (ingredient suppliers, brands, CDMOs, subcontractors) Opening doors with R&D, regulatory, innovation, and product development teams Promoting the full portfolio of scientific and regulatory services Building tailored proposals in close collaboration with scientific and project teams Leveraging trade shows, conferences, and industry events as lead generation channels Ensuring structured follow-up and development of newly acquired accounts

???? Clear priority: new client acquisition
Existing account management remains secondary.

Profile Education Higher education degree (Business School or equivalent) Exposure to a scientific or regulated environment is a plus Market Expertise Strong knowledge of the cosmetics market (testing, regulation, R&D and innovation ecosystem) Knowledge of Medical Devices is a differentiating asset, but not mandatory Possible Backgrounds Testing laboratories, CROs, CDMOs, regulatory consulting firms B2B technical service sales in regulated environments Scientific or regulatory profiles who have transitioned into commercial roles Skills & Mindset Strong hunter mindset Ability to sell complex scientific services Credibility with technical and scientific stakeholders Autonomous, structured, and results-oriented Comfortable with long and consultative sales cycles Requirements Fluent French and English Minimum 3–5 years in B2B business development Proven track record in generating new business Willingness to travel nationally Preferred Location Paris / Île-de-France ????
