PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The formal On-Trade Sales Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and managing the on-trade sales team to achieve volume, revenue, and market share objectives. The role ensures effective implementation of channel strategies, strong customer relationship management, and excellence in execution across all on-trade outlets. This position plays a key role in driving Namibia Breweries Limited’s growth and profitability within the on-trade channel.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Commerce. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or trade marketing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Proven success in the formal on-trade channel (restaurants, bars/lounges, clubs, and hotels). Valid driver’s license.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Lead and coach the on-trade sales team to deliver business objectives. Develop and execute the on-trade sales strategy aligned with company goals. Build, maintain, and develop strong relationships with key on-trade customers and stakeholders. Ensure world-class execution standards, including pricing, distribution, visibility, and promotional compliance. Drive business growth through new business development and trade agreements. Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and track competitor activities. Ensure efficient resource utilization, adherence to budgets, and cost optimization. Champion compliance with safety, health, and company policies at all times.
