Global Commercial, a key sub-function within Care Enablement, plays a vital role in advancing Fresenius Medical Care’s mission to improve the lives of patients with chronic kidney disease. The team brings together Sales, Marketing, Global Sales Excellence, and Global Technical Operations, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality medical devices, technical services, and impactful commercial strategies across global markets. 

Positions in this sub-family are responsible for the sales and marketing activities of the organization, including the development and execution of strategies to drive business growth, market presence, and customer engagement.

As a Sales Manager responsible for Egypt you will be in charge of Managing the sales of the home hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis products and services within Middle East Area (excluding KSA) as indicated below:

Operationalization:

Get market insights and provide the Cluster Head with market / competitor data, prices, trends in order to determine market demand and market potential as well as competitors’ market sharesSell and promote home and peritoneal dialysis products under strategic guidance and collaboration with cluster headSupport in monitoring key performance indicators such as patient numbers and overall financial outcomes of home businessDefine actions for the respective countries (strategy into operations)Conduct feasibility studies with regard to investments which are necessary to develop the marketPropose distribution channels and explore appropriate distributorsProcess tenders in close collaboration with the Cluster Head and Order Management TeamPrepare contracts in close collaboration with Legal (à Contract Management)Negotiate prices in set frame and in alignment with the Cluster HeadFind out sales and price structures of distribution partnersRespond to HQ queries (database, market info, lists, Market and Competitor Survey) in alignment with the Cluster HeadProvide input for the Business Value Services unit (especially the Order Management Team)Conduct Audit ManagementInteract with the distributor on a daily basis on business operationsManage key accountsSupport local team in Egypt in tender implementation

Customer-orientation

Keep up a strong customer orientation Plan, control and organize distribution networks in the countries Maintain existing customer contacts and create new contactsMaintain contacts and negotiations with distributor, end-users, KOLs, consultants, institutions and key accountsCollaborate with the Order Management Team of the respective countries

Relationship Management

Establish a good working relationship with internal customers i.e. Order Management TeamEstablish good partnership with customers and stakeholders (especially distributors, KOLs and key accounts)Steer and guide the sales force of the distributorChallenge the distributorEngage actively in local healthcare communities and networks

Legal, Compliance and Regulatory

Examine and meet compliance guidelinesEnsure that own sales activities are carried out in full compliance with current local legislation and standards such as GSDP, SOX, FACETEnsure compliance with local safety regulations

Your Profile:

Business studies (at a university or university of applied sciences, Bachelor or Master) specialising in Business, Marketing, Foreign Trade, Biomedical Engineering or Medical degreeAt least 6 years professional experience in a comparable field of responsibility oriented to international sales and/or marketingProfession experience in the field of medical technology & n project management and/or project leadership would be an advantageVery good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint),Very good English, Arabic advantageousExcellent understanding of country healthcare sector as well as pronounced understanding of market and political environment and related interdependenciesCustomer and country specific knowledgeExport knowledge, including the handling and financing of export paymentsKnowledge of international customs regulations and dispatch and export regulations for the specific countriesExperience with balance sheets, investment decisions, cash flow and distribution networksExcellent moderation and presentation skillsWillingness to travel & to work flexible hours
