The Ontario Airport Hotel and Conference Center, soon to be rebranded as Hyatt Regency, is undergoing an exciting full-property transformation under new ownership. With 309 rooms and over 20,000 square feet of flexible event space, this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic leadership team and help reposition the property into one of the region’s most sought-after hospitality destinations.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead proactive sales efforts and generate revenue through group business, corporate accounts, and event sales. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, know how to close business, and love being part of a big-picture vision, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

Proactively generate group and corporate leads and convert inquiries into signed business Respond to sales inquiries related to sleeping rooms, meeting spaces, banquets, and special events Build and maintain strong client relationships while continuously developing new accounts Prepare and negotiate contracts, proposals, and pricing aligned with revenue goals Analyze lost business and develop strategic action plans to maximize opportunities Partner with operations and marketing to ensure flawless event execution and guest satisfaction Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and client meetings

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 5 years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a branded full-service or conference hotel Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Experience in developing strategic sales plans and identifying market opportunities Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Strong understanding of sales cycles, revenue management, and customer relationship management Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs, including occasional evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in hospitality, business, or related field Familiarity with Hyatt systems, Delphi.fdc, or other major CRM/Sales platforms Local market knowledge a strong plus
