Sales Manager
Waste Connections is currently looking for a dynamic **District** **Sales Manager** to join the team! This position is responsible for supporting the Outside Sales representatives in the New Orleans area. This is done through hands-on involvement with the Sales team and the continuous development, execution, and refinement of the District – organic growth, retention, and price increase plans. **Principal Duties** When needed, a resource to support the Sales team with: + Developing, implementing, and refining an effective local Sales Strategy. + Execution and training for effective Prince Increase efforts. + Primary individual responsible for support and training on Sales CRM systems (ARES). + Verify and approve commissions on a monthly basis. + Hands-on development for Sales Team for career advancement. **Minimum Requirements** + College degree in business, marketing, or a related field strongly preferred. + Previous experience working in sales, preferably in waste, transportation, or service related fields. + At least 5 years supervisor or management level experience necessary. + Proficiency in sales & marketing principles and techniques. + Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex problems and present cost-effective solutions. + Track record of leadership and team-building skills. + High level of proficiency in the use of computer related programs with emphasis on CRM. + Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems and tools. **Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
