Sales Manager
We are looking for a motivated sales leader to manage and grow a private-label B2B
client of ours in Columbus, OH. This person thrives in a rapid-growth and fast-paced environment with a demonstrated track record of success in a full sales cycle role. This selling manager will be cultivating relationships with retailers and brands of all sizes, both domestically and internationally.

Key aspects of this position include:
Revenue Generation
Sales Team Leadership (2 current direct reports)
Project Management
Communication

Sales Director should expect to spend approximately 75% of their time on team revenue generation, and the remaining time on leadership, project management, and communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:
Develop and execute plans to achieve annual private-label wholesale sales goals across multiple distribution channels and verticals
Create and communicate sales goals to a team of sales account managers and account executives, ensuring their progress toward goals on an annual basis, and communicating that progress to the VP/President
Manage and grow an assigned book of business
Build and maintain long-term and strong relationships with customers through both proactive prospecting and new customer development, and growth of current accounts
Cultivate an ongoing understanding of industry-specific trends and landscapes, as well as marketplace demands for product performance, and communicate and speak to those in a manner that positions our team as industry-leaders
Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
Effectively communicate and report on issues and matters that shift the strategic direction of key accounts and market penetration
Experienced in closing significant new business and expanding existing client relationships by coordinating proposals, supporting product development and sampling, leading pricing and contract negotiations, and assisting the Outbound Account Executive and Account Manager roles in moving deals through the pipeline to closure
Trade Show execution (one major show)
Manage trade organization relationships as key point of contact
Other duties as assigned

Base compensation range is $90,000 $100,000
