  ADP is hiring a Sales Leader as part of our Sales Executive Accelerated program, Small Business division.  

Overview:

ADP is hiring a Sales Manager to lead and grow a high-performing sales team within our Small Business Services division. This is a people leadership role ideal for a motivated, experienced sales professional with a passion for building teams, driving results, and developing talent.

 

As part of ADP’s Sales Executive Accelerated Program, you’ll gain access to robust leadership development, world-class sales training, and mentorship. You’ll lead a team focused on selling ADP’s payroll, HR, and benefits solutions to new and existing small business clients.

 

What You’ll Do:

Lead and Inspire: Direct, coach, and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve and exceed sales targets. Recruit and Develop Talent: Hire, train, and support the ongoing development of your team through performance coaching and career planning. Drive Results: Execute sales strategies to grow your assigned territory and maximize team performance. Represent ADP: Be the face of ADP at client meetings, events, trade shows, and in the field. Utilize Tools: Ensure Salesforce is used consistently and accurately across the team.

What You Bring:

Sales Leadership: 3+ years of experience managing a sales team, with a proven ability to drive results. Proven Sales Performance: 5+ years in B2B sales with consistent overachievement. Coaching Mindset: Ability to mentor, give feedback, and grow team members into top performers. Strategic Execution: Strong planning, organization, and time management skills. Collaborative Spirit: Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Education: Post-secondary education is an asset, but not required. Equivalent experience will be considered.

Preferred Experience:

Leading in a process-driven, metrics-based sales environment. Experience managing in a large corporate or U.S.-based/global organization. Familiarity with payroll, HR, or SaaS solutions.

Required Qualifications.
A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experience could include: Highschool Diploma 3 + years experience managing a sales team 5 + years of proven sales experience as a sales associate with a track record of consistent over-plan performance. Tangible field experience managing, mentoring and coaching other associates. Has demonstrated outstanding sales, leadership and business planning capability. Partners with various business teams to achieve sales, revenue, profit and client retention objectives. Experience managing in a process-oriented, metrics-driven, fast-paced, large sales organization. Proven ability to effectively lead a team Able to lead change. Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment. Experience with assessing client requirements, making recommendations and engaging solutions delivery. Experience in a US or international subsidiary environment would be an asset. Excellent planning skills and ability to implement successful sales strategies Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, listening, and written)

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $82,400.00 - $131,600.00 / Year*
