Sales Leadership Development Program Associate
The Ameriprise Financial Leadership Development Program (LDP) offers meaningful work experience for emerging talent in a FORTUNE 500® company within the Financial Services industry. The Sales LDP is an 18-month commitment designed cultivate your business acumen, gain on-the-job training, network in a supportive, inclusive, team-based environment, have exposure to senior leaders and contribute to the success of the company through three, 6-month rotations. After exploring the breadth of the business unit(s) through each rotation, LDPs may have the opportunity to post to a permanent position within Ameriprise Financial.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may vary based on current rotation and assigned project(s), and typically include:

Supporting sales initiatives by assisting with advisor outreach, lead generation, and follow-up activitiesCollaborating with team members to improve sales processes and enhance the overall advisor experienceConducting basic data analysis to identify sales trends and opportunities for growthHelping troubleshoot advisor issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutionContributing to reporting efforts, tracking performance metrics and preparing summaries for leadership

Required Qualifications

Current Senior at a 4-year university pursing a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, or related field

Graduation date of December 2025 or May/June 2026

Demonstrated leadership experience

Commitment to complete the full 18-month Leadership Development Program

Preferred Qualifications

Strong self-motivation and a results-driven mindset, with a commitment to ethical sales practicesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple advisor interactions and prioritiesClear and confident communication skills—written, verbal, and presentationAbility to collaborate effectively across teams and with leadership to support sales goals and advisor needsComfortable using Microsoft Office Suite to track leads, prepare presentations, and analyze sales data

Base Pay Salary

Base Salary Range The estimated base salary for this role is $64,000.00. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
