**Position Overview**
Royal Palms Resort & Spa is seeking a highly analytical and responsive **Sales Business Analyst** to drive the strategy and execution of all internet-based inbound leads. This role is responsible for receiving, qualifying, analyzing, and bidding on digital RFPs and inbound group inquiries to ensure timely, competitive, and strategically positioned responses.
Serving as the first point of evaluation within the sales funnel, the Sales Business Analyst partners closely with Revenue Management and Sales Leadership to assess demand patterns, optimize pricing, and align proposals with overall revenue strategy. This role plays a direct impact on conversion performance, response time standards, and total group revenue capture.
As opportunities advance and are ready for site visits or deeper relationship engagement, the Sales Business Analyst coordinates a seamless and intentional handoff to the Group Sales team. Acting as both a strategic gatekeeper and operational bridge, this role ensures inbound opportunities are efficiently qualified, strategically positioned, and transitioned for successful closing.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Receive, review, and respond to all internet-based inbound leads and digital RFPs in accordance with response time standards.
+ Analyze business potential including dates, pattern, space utilization, guest room demand, and profitability.
+ Collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales leadership to determine optimal pricing and strategic positioning.
+ Prepare customized, data-informed proposals aligned with resort revenue goals.
+ Track conversion ratios, response time metrics, and funnel progression.
+ Identify trends in inbound demand and provide insight to Sales Leadership.
+ Coordinate thoughtful handoff of qualified opportunities to Group Sales Managers for site tours and closing.
+ Partner with Marketing to monitor digital sales channels, ensuring imagery, copy, and promotional group offers reflect the resort’s competitive positioning and unique selling features.
+ Provide real-time feedback from inbound inquiries to support ongoing digital optimization efforts.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
+ 2–4 years of experience in hotel sales, revenue management, business analytics, or group sales coordination.
+ Experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment strongly preferred.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel proficiency required; experience with data analysis tools preferred).
+ Experience with Hyatt sales and revenue systems preferred.
+ Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational discipline.
