The Role

The Walmart Sales Insights Manager is a critical partner to the Walmart Sales team, driving insights, reporting excellence, and flawless item execution. Reporting directly to and under the guidance of the Walmart Director of Sales, this individual owns data integrity, leads analytics, and proactively identifies opportunities, risks, and trends to inform strategy, while managing item setup and maintenance. The Manager ensures cross-functional partners and Walmart merchants receive timely, actionable insights that drive growth. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in data analytics, deep expertise in Scintilla, and a collaborative, cross-functional mindset with a commitment to advancing The Honest Company’s business objectives.

What you’ll do:

Own data integrity and lead Walmart analytics, including weekly reporting and ad hoc analysis. Analyze Scintilla and internal data to uncover opportunities, whitespace, risks, and emerging trends that shape sales strategy. Familiar with syndicated surveys and/or Walmart Customer Perception Track KPIs and performance to guide sales execution and decision-making. Evaluate promotions and pricing to optimize velocity, ROI, and distribution. Serve as the Scintilla Charter expert, providing insights on category trends and business opportunities. Deliver forward-looking recommendations to accelerate performance and growth. Build dashboards, recap decks, and visualizations to communicate insights and align stakeholders. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Category Management, and Sales to integrate insights into strategy. Support development of customer-facing materials with data inputs and analysis that drive visuals. Lead Walmart new item setup and ongoing item maintenance for accurate and timely execution. Create ad hoc reports and analyses as requested.

What You’ll Bring

2–3 years of retail sales analytics or category insights experience with Walmart. Deep expertise in Scintilla Charter Proficiency in IRI/Circana and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Additional experience with Sam’s Club is preferred Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally across levels. Clear, organized communicator with strong documentation and presentation abilities. Self-motivated, goal oriented, desire to deliver results College or bachelor’s degree in business or similar major

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000. Actual compensation is based on many factors including but not limited to depth of experience, skill level, ability, knowledge, education, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. 

The total rewards package for this position may also include base, annual incentive plan, benefits, retirement plan, equity, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
