Join our collaborative sales and technical services organization as a Sales Engineer (m/w/d) OEM Sales Anlagenbau supporting the EMEA region. In this role, you will contribute to revenue growth and customer success by combining technical expertise with consultative selling. You will support customers and channel partners with innovative membrane filtration and degassing solutions while representing Thermo Fisher Scientific’s comprehensive portfolio. Working in a matrix and international environment, you will help customers advance their scientific and industrial applications while enabling our Mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.

This role is based remotly in Germany and will mainly work with customers in the northern part of Germany and the Nordics.

A Day in the Life:
You will develop and support strategic sales and technical plans, manage and grow customer relationships, and provide technical consultation for membrane degassing and filtration solutions. The role includes close collaboration with regional portfolio teams, local sales organizations, and channel partners. Through customer visits, trainings, quotations, and technical project sizing, you will act as a trusted advisor and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across diverse markets.

What to expect:

Supporting customers and channel partners across Europe, the Middle East, and AfricaDelivering technical consultation for membrane filtration and degassing applicationsPreparing commercial quotations and technical project sizingDeveloping and maintaining technical literature, product documentation, and application briefsConducting face-to-face customer trainings and representing Thermo Fisher Scientific at symposia and trade exhibitionsTraveling within the assigned territory to support customer engagement (approx. 25% - 50%)

Keys to Success:

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (e.g., Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related field)

Experience

Experience in sales, technical sales, or customer-facing roles within scientific, laboratory, healthcare, or industrial markets preferredExposure to membrane technologies, filtration, or related applications is advantageous

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand customer applications and workflowsExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to develop commercial quotations and perform technical project sizingProficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office toolsStrong analytical, planning, and organizational skillsFluency in English required; additional languages are beneficial
