A week in the life of a Sales Engineer:
Assist sales team to identify, qualify and quantify all opportunities within the assigned territory and leads sales effortIs responsible for pre-sales technical support for all assigned productsProvide field support on critical post-sales support issues to achieve unsurpassed customer satisfactionWork with the sales team to develop and enhance customer and partner relationshipsCreate and deliver accurate and technically correct sales presentations and RFI/RFP’s both directly to end users and partnersInvolved in communication with customer and partners on product changes, upgrades and innovationsProvides feedback and marketing intelligence to sales team and the product marketing team to ensure company products remain competitive in the marketParticipates and represents Thales at appropriate user conferences and trade showsKEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
Knowledge in information security principles and practices (cryptography, network security, etc.) and apply those for the purpose of data protectionKnowledge of solution integration and application development, although programming will not necessary be part of the dutyKnowledge of Databases (Structured Data Oracle preferred, MS SQL, DB2 or other databases beneficial), Cloud technology as well as VirtualizationExperience in any of the following is also desirable and welcomed:Database Transparent Encryption (TDE & HSM) and TokenizationStorage & Virtualization (NetApp, Hitachi, AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, VMWare)Cryptographic APIs like PKCS#11, MS CAPI/CNG, JCA/JCE, NTLS / HTL, KMIPPCI compliance, Data Privacy Law, GDPR, Mandatory Data Breach Notification or related industrial data privacy regulation/guidelines.Database Activity MonitoringWeb Application FirewallKnowledge in solution integration experience; experience in deploying web servers, java application servers and database servers; experience in Windows/Linux system administrations.Knowledge with any programing or scripting language is preferred.CISSP, CISA or related cybersecurity certification is a plusYou must be fluent in Korean, English.We would like someone to join our team who has strong communication, negotiation, analytical skills.
