The Sales Enablement Manager, Digital Pathology (DP) (f/m/d) AI Solutions – EMEA for Leica Biosystems is responsible for facilitating commercial enablement of the team, through coordination with the Business Unit and the Selling Unit specifically focusing on any DP products that impact DP AI applications. Products of responsibility include, but are not limited to, scanners with specific focus on Fluorescence, software for image management and image analysis. She/he responds to all product specific enquires from the DP sales team and contributes to the commercial enablement of the all the sales team, including technical product information, product training and negotiation support.
This position is part of the Digital Pathology LBS sales organization located in Europe and will be fully remote. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.
You will be a part of the Digital Pathology EMEA sales team and report to the EMEA Commercial Development Leader DP. You will be responsible for supporting the EMEA commercial DP organization as the go to expert for AI applications. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Provide all technical product information for Digital Pathology Image Management Systems, Image Analysis and Artificial Intelligence solutions both in Clinical and Life Science segments. You will also become an expert in Fluorescence scanner acquisition.
+ Develop your training and communication skills providing periodic field-based and remote product training for the broader EMEA SU commercial team and mentoring LBS associates to expand the team’s product and process acumen.
+ Provide commercial sales support to Sales Specialists and Application Specialists through voice of sales & voice of customer, Standard Work and product expertise for the tender response
+ Create and develop sales enablement resources (tools, guides, Case Studies, competitive comparison) to maximize sales efficiencies.
+ Lead communication activities with the BU, relevant platform updates, new product launches, product disruptions, discontinuation of service for products and related matters.
+ Collaborate with EMEA and Global Marketing team to generate AI applications marketing campaigns, congresses content and presentations
+ Work with the DP Commercial Development Leader to provide metrics on funnel/forecasting reviews. Drives to root cause on sales shortfalls and identifies countermeasures to ensure business success.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor’s degree in biology or medical disciplines or biology related field required or equivalent experience
+ Several years of demonstrated success in sales, commercial marketing, product management, or similar functions supporting Digital Pathology
+ Experience in Life Science segment as well as in the tissue diagnostics and medical devices industry in supporting imaging techniques (both brightfield and Fluorescence).
+ Expertise in presenting to customers and peers
+ Experience in business strategy –market & customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Microscopy sales support in Clinical and Life Science environment
+ Effectively influence a large, geographically distributed and organizationally complex team in a fast paced and dynamic environment
+ Image Analysis algorithms and Artificial Intelligence applied to clinical diagnostic fields.
