Sales Enablement Learning Design Manager

Thales is hiring an experience Sales Enablement Learning Design Manager  who will designs and delivers high-impact learning programs that directly supports Thales’ global sales organization. This role will support learning program creation across eLearning, live virtual, and in-person modalities.


This role will support both new hire onboarding and continuous field enablement, including sales skills, product enablement, and sales methodology workshops. The ideal candidate has firsthand experience in a sales role and is able to translate what happens in the field into learning that directly impacts seller performance.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Learning Program Design & Delivery

Design and build end-to-end learning programs across multiple modalities, including:

- eLearning and microlearning

- Live virtual instructor-led training (VILT)

- In-person instructor-led training (ILT)


Develop programs supporting:

- New hire onboarding

- Continuous field education

- Skills enablement (selling, storytelling, discovery, positioning, etc.)

- Product enablement


Instructional & Visual Design

Create visually compelling and attention-grabbing learning assets, including:

- eLearning modules

- Slides, job aids, and facilitator guides

- Video-based learning and simulations

Apply strong graphic design principles to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment

Translate complex concepts into simple, intuitive learning experiences

Balance interactive, activity-based and graphic-rich learning with clear, concise guidance to ensure content is both engaging and instructionally effective


Facilitation & Enablement

Facilitate live virtual and in-person training sessions as needed

Partner with enablement and field leaders to ensure learning is delivered effectively and reinforced over time

Support train-the-trainer efforts and provide facilitation guidance where applicable


Tools, Technology & Innovation

Serve as an expert in modern learning and video authoring tools

Leverage multimedia, video, and interactive learning techniques to improve engagement and retention

Continuously evaluate and recommend new approaches, tools, and formats to modernize learning delivery


Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, Product Management, and SMEs to gather inputs and validate content

Balance multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Operate effectively in ambiguity, adapting learning solutions as business priorities shift

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experience

8+ combined years of experience in sales, sales enablement, or similar customer-facing role that is measured by revenue-based KPIs

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and pivoting quickly as priorities change

Demonstrates strong project management discipline

Able to design, build, and deliver learning programs in a timely, structured manner while adapting quickly as business priorities evolve.

Proven experience designing learning programs across eLearning, virtual, and in-person modalities

Strong understanding of modern instructional design & enablement methodologies

Strong understanding of cybersecurity industry

Expertise in modern eLearning authoring tools and video creation

Experience facilitating live training sessions (virtual and/or in person)

Excellent communication skills that are clear, concise, and audience-focused

Strong interpersonal skills with the experience

ability to work cross-functionally

Ability to travel 0-50% of the time

The reference Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between

Total Target Cash (TTC) 112,866.00 - 231,150.00 USD Annual

This reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls within this range is also dependent on other factors including – but not limited to – the employee’s career path history, competencies, skills and performance, as well as the company’s annual salary budget, the customer’s program requirements, and the company’s internal equity.
