Sales Director - Plano, TX
Job Description One of Insight Global’s customers is looking to onboard a Sales Director to lead and grow the North Texas (DFW) sales organization, currently producing $12–15M in annual gross profit, with a mandate to scale toward a $50–75M revenue-producing team. This leader will oversee a team of seven, driving new customer acquisition, expanding existing relationships, and strengthening partnerships with key technology vendors. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong market presence, leadership capability, and a deep understanding of the DFW reseller and technology ecosystem. This is a permanent opportunity and will be hybrid 2-3 days a week in Plano, TX. Skills and Requirements 3+ years of people management experience, overseeing sales teams. Deep expertise and established presence in the DFW market. Current or recent experience working for a major competitor or reseller such as: NetSync, GDT, Worldwide, Presidio, NTT Data, CDW, SHI, Gage, or OEM suppliers including: Cisco, HPE, Dell, Genesis, Avaya, Palo Alto. Proven success in hiring, developing, and scaling sales talent. Strong track record in both new business acquisition and expansion of existing accounts. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated executive presence. Ability to articulate business strategy, market insights, challenges, and growth plans clearly and confidently. Previous experience working for any reseller, ideally in the DFW region. Existing relationships with top industry vendors—candidates who are “known quantities” in the market strongly preferred. Ability to bring an existing team or book of business (not required, but highly desirable).
