Mackenzie Stuart is working on behalf of a global leader in the packaging machinery and processing industry. They are currently looking for a Director of Sales to lead their North American Sales efforts into the multi-application market.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a sales strategy for the North American market to achieve company revenue goals in the plastic extrusion market.Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing sales team.Source new business opportunities across key verticals including pipe & profile, fiber, and custom extrusion.Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, and internal stakeholders.Work closely with Engineering, Product Development, and Marketing to align offerings with customer needs and industry trends.Oversee complex capital equipment sales cycles—from lead generation through proposal, negotiation, and post-sale support.Manage pricing strategies, margin targets, and contract terms in alignment with company objectives.Analyze market dynamics, customer data, and competitor activity to guide decision-making and strategy.Represent the company at major trade shows, technical conferences, and industry associations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business or a related field.5+ years in of sales leadership experience in capital equipment.Demonstrated success in managing long, consultative sales cycles and closing multi-million-dollar deals.Strong analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills.Willingness to travel domestically and international up to 60%.
