This position assists Sales Directors and Managers to develop, implement, promote and follow through on actions and activities to increase business revenues. A Sales Coordinator must have a strong attention to detail, the ability to resolve conflicts and a proactive mindset. Furthermore, a Sales Coordinator must develop and maintain the company’s culture, values and reputation in the public eye, and with all staff, guests, vendors and partners. **Qualifications:** **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED). College Degree preferred. + One (1) year related hospitality experience is preferred. + Ability to create documents in Word and Excel in addition to an understanding of property management systems. + Ability to apply math concepts where applicable. + Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills. + Impeccable time management and organizational skills. + Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple interests. + Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion. + Competency using a variety of computer software such as Opera Cloud, Social tables and Excel is preferred. All employment is decided based on qualifications, merit, and business need. **Job Responsibilities:** + Utilize office systems to perform necessary support duties and consistently maintain accurate, up-to-date information for all business contacts and accounts. + Prepare and distribute internal/external correspondence, contracts, BEOs, group resumes, rooming lists, event schedules and other documents in an accurate, detailed and timely manner. + Serve as a principal source of information for the sales and operational teams, ensuring all departments have necessary documents to execute client expectations seamlessly. + Responsible for coordinating all necessary billing pertaining to the sales department for clients and vendors in accordance with company billing procedures. + Maintain trace dates and tasks for contact, deposit and contract follow-up in addition to all other actions necessary for sales duties. + Managing the sales and event lead log and ensuring lead response time within 24 hours of receipt. + Responsible for monitoring group wash and block management, including alerting the appropriate leaders for potential release. + Assisting the Sales Managers and Sales Directors on tasks as requested. + Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, training material, memos and verbal instruction. + Support coordination of site and pre-planning visits. + Availability to work weekends and irregular hours along with a dynamic schedule based on seasonal demand. + Creating memorable experiences for customers by building strong relationships, providing exceptional service and showcasing organizational strengths. + Participate in meetings, sales blitzes and brainstorming opportunities to increase sales results. Based upon fluctuating demands of the operation and to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to perform a multitude of different functions not specifically related to this position. This person may be expected to perform other tasks and duties as needed or as directed.
