Job Title: Sales Coordinator
Job Description
This role involves collaborating directly with the sales team to provide financial support to a group of sales account managers and their customer base. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for creating and verifying invoices, following up on financial data, and setting up payment information. The position requires interacting consistently with the sales team, engineers, and customers to ensure pricing and payment information is accurately entered into the system.
Responsibilities
Create and verify invoices for customers.Follow up on invoices to obtain proper financial data and set up payment information.Create purchase orders for customers and verify pricing and invoice information in customer portals.Provide support to the sales staff and engineers with pricing and payment information.Use SAP to look up pricing questions and perform a three-way match with various sources to ensure customer charges are accurate.Track received payments and outstanding balances for the customer base.Interact with customers via email and phone regarding invoicing issues related to pricing or quantity.Engage in internal problem-solving communication with the sales and engineering teams.Consistently perform a three-way matching process to ensure accuracy in customer billing.Essential Skills
2+ years of recent experience in sales administration and invoicing.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience with creating and managing purchase orders.Bachelor's Degree.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with SAP/ERP systems is highly preferred.Associate's Degree.Work Environment
This position involves working 35 hours per week, with compensation based on this schedule.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Farmington Hills, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
