Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Sales Coordinator to join our growing team in Gaborone, Botswana. In this role, you will be the backbone of our sales operations, supporting our sales team in achieving ambitious targets while maintaining exceptional client relationships. As a Sales Coordinator, you will combine administrative excellence with sales enthusiasm, ensuring seamless communication between clients, internal teams, and leadership. Support the sales team in developing and maintaining detailed client databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on potential revenues and account prioritiesProcess all sales-related paperwork efficiently, including contracts, proposals, letters, emails, and reports, while maintaining meticulous attention to detailMaintain comprehensive knowledge of company products, services, and competitive offerings, and effectively communicate this information to support the sales team's effortsCoordinate client familiarization trips, site inspections, sales trips, and roadshows, handling logistics and ensuring smooth executionPrepare and maintain accurate sales reports, performance metrics, and action plans, providing analytical insights to support decision-makingAssist in identifying and pursuing upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client baseLiaise effectively with operational departments including Front Office, Reservations, and Events to ensure accurate delivery of client promisesManage sales-specific software, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Property Management Systems (PMS), and Microsoft Office tools with proficiencySupport the establishment and execution of promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives using client databasesProvide proactive, professional, and friendly assistance to all clients and internal stakeholdersMonitor and control departmental expenses, adhering to approval procedures and budget guidelinesParticipate in professional development activities to strengthen financial literacy, negotiation skills, and sales knowledgeCollaborate with team members to identify process improvements and innovative solutions that enhance sales effectiveness

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

High school diploma or equivalentProven experience in a sales support, administrative, or customer service roleProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesDemonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentationAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems or sales databasesStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departmentsProblem-solving mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamBasic financial literacy and understanding of sales metrics and reporting

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Experience in the hospitality, tourism, or service industryFamiliarity with Property Management Systems (PMS)Sales certification or formal sales trainingExperience coordinating events or client meetingsKnowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape analysisExperience with sales forecasting and pipeline managementMultilingual abilities (particularly local languages)Demonstrated track record of supporting sales teams in achieving targets
