We are looking for a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our clients team in Neenah, Wisconsin. This long-term contract position plays a key role in supporting our clients business operations by managing customer orders, scheduling deliveries, and coordinating logistics. If you have excellent organizational skills and enjoy working in a dynamic manufacturing environment, this role is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Position Purpose
The Sales Coordinator manages various customer service, order entry, and production scheduling tasks. This role is also responsible for creating delivery routes, arranging freight, and maintaining communication with drivers and carriers to ensure efficient operations for direct store distribution customers.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Contact customers for order placement, enter orders, generate delivery routes, schedule freight, and handle communication with delivery drivers and carriers.
+ Investigate and resolve issues related to distribution and delivery.
+ Coordinate all aspects of order fulfillment including order processing, delivery scheduling, and billing.
+ Oversee route creation, adjustments, dock appointment scheduling, and ensure freight is arranged for customers and distributors.
+ Collaborate with customers and co-manufacturers to streamline order management, delivery, and invoicing.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
+ Proven experience in customer-facing roles focused on service excellence and problem-solving.
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong multitasking ability with a consistent history of meeting deadlines.
+ Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
+ Demonstrated ability as a self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
+ Confident demeanor, adaptability, and an approachable personality.
+ Comfort and capability collaborating with diverse roles, from entry-level staff to executives.
+ Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, customer service, or a related field is necessary.
